Great, fast service
I have been using these strings for the last 12 months I feel you get more life out of them and love the tone they produce.
First time using and although I’ve been playing with coated strings for ever I found these easy to play, very nice warm tone, if they came coated I’d be sold for life.
I love John Pearse strings and they’re the only strings I use these days. There is a sound to them, a resonance I really love and the Acoustic Centre is great to deal with.
John Pearse strings are not well know but with online ordering they are available even if your local store doesn’t stock them. Good on The Acoustic Centre for having them! They are excellent phosphour bronze strings with a warm tone and a good lasting ability for non-coated strings. A cheaper but perhaps equal alternative would be Martin Authentic Acoustic strings, although I felt the two brands did sound different. Try both if you like to experiment!
I love these strings. I’ve been playing guitar for 58 years and I only recently heard about these strings and I’m so glad I did. They “ring” forever, are very even to play and I’ll be continuing to play them

I don’t normally do reviews but I simply can’t not share the love for this set! I bought a few sets from various brands to try with an OM-28 - the John Pearse PB light are an amazing match, lending a smoky, articulate tone when finger picked. Only criticism is they might be too “dark” for some. Acoustic Centre, let’s get some JP 80/20s next!
