AustraliaI have not been a fan of ‘coated’ strings until now. The ubiquitous Elixirs suit many, but the sound of good uncoated strings like Martin’s Authentic Acoustic or John Pearse strings is clearly better. They just don’t last as long. I have always preferred the better sound. But these new XS strings from D’Addario raise the bar. They sound as good as any non-coated string I have used. They are a bit slicker than non-coated strings but you soon adjust your playing. They also create less finger squeak. I would highly recommend them; give them a try in your preferred gauge.
AustraliaI was a big fan of elixir but have been caught out a few times with the fake ones on the market these strings imo are better and they have a code on the packet you can look up online and know you are getting the real deal
AustraliaPut them on my Santa Cruz H14. They have been a long lasting string with a smooth feel that lasts.
