AUSTRALIA'S #1 ACOUSTIC GUITAR SPECIALIST
AUSTRALIA'S #1 ACOUSTIC GUITAR SPECIALIST
The Maton EMD-6 Mini Acoustic Electric Guitar, also known as the "Diesel Model," is a compact instrument that defies its size with an impressive, bold sound. Originally designed as a travel guitar, the EMD-6 has become a staple for musicians, including renowned artist Diesel, who praised the guitar for its focus, projection, and freedom from bulk. With a Sitka Spruce top and solid Blackwood back and sides, the EMD-6 delivers a rich, balanced tone that rivals much larger guitars. Despite its smaller body shape, this guitar provides clarity and depth that belies its size, making it a versatile choice for both stage performances and studio work.
Equipped with Maton's AP5 Pro pickup system, the EMD-6 ensures high-quality amplification, preserving its tonal integrity when plugged in. The guitar also features gold Grover machine heads for precise tuning and stability, ensuring reliability during performances. The vintage amber stain finish adds a touch of elegance, while the ebony fingerboard and bridge, along with the laser-cut "M" monogram rosette, complete the guitar’s refined aesthetic. With its compact size, it offers ease of playability, making it ideal for those who prefer a smaller, more comfortable instrument without sacrificing sound.
Available in both 6-string and 12-string configurations, the Maton EMD-6 is perfect for musicians who need a portable, high-quality guitar that still delivers a powerful and resonant sound. The included standard mini hardcase ensures the guitar stays safe during travel, and the inclusion of Elixir Nanoweb Phosphor Bronze strings ensures long-lasting tone and durability. Whether you’re a seasoned performer like Diesel or a budding guitarist, the EMD-6 offers an unparalleled combination of portability, craftsmanship, and tonal richness.
