The Sire Larry Carlton H7V is a semi-hollowbody electric guitar that offers a fresh take on Mr. Carlton’s semi-hollow choice, with a bright, cutting sound and exceptional tonal versatility. This instrument features a resonant laminate maple body with an eye-catching flamed maple top. Its "C"-shaped mahogany neck is paired with a smooth ebony fingerboard, equipped with medium-jumbo frets and rolled edges for enhanced playability. The H7V is loaded with LC Vintage Dogear P-90 pickups that deliver vintage-style bite and bark, perfect for driving your amplifier into rich, saturated tones. The guitar’s aesthetic is further highlighted by a 3-ply pickguard, ivory binding, small black Pearloid inlays, top hat knobs, a bone nut, set-neck joint, and premium chrome hardware.

The H7V’s dual LC Vintage Dogear P-90 pickups offer a significant departure from the traditional humbucker setup, providing a single-coil clarity and articulation. These pickups excel in delivering smooth jazz tones from the neck position and a throaty bark from the bridge position. They are highly responsive to the guitar’s tone and volume controls, allowing for a range of sounds from high-octane overdrive to harmonic-rich clean tones.

Visually, the H7V stands out with its flamed maple top and semi-hollow, laminate maple body, offering both resonance and sustain while minimizing feedback. The guitar’s design exudes a '50s-era charm with a 3-ply pickguard, ivory binding, small block inlays, and top hat knobs. The chrome hardware, including a Tune-o-matic bridge and stoptail tailpiece, complements the guitar's classic look and performance.

Playing the H7V is a satisfying experience. Its "C"-shaped mahogany neck provides a comfortable grip, and the 24.75-inch scale allows for easy vibrato and string bends. The 12-inch-radius ebony fingerboard features medium-jumbo frets and rolled edges for enhanced playability. Additional features include a tone-enhancing bone nut and a sustain-boosting set-neck joint.
