AUSTRALIA'S #1 ACOUSTIC GUITAR SPECIALIST
AUSTRALIA'S #1 ACOUSTIC GUITAR SPECIALIST
The Ibanez FRH10N BSF Nylon String Guitar is designed for guitarists who crave the warmth of nylon strings combined with the playability of an electric guitar. This model delivers exceptional performance with its compact, thin body and superior high fret access, making it an ideal choice for both stage and home use.
The FRH10N features a Nyatoh neck that imparts a rich mid-low end, complemented by a Walnut fretboard that provides a well-balanced tonal character across the frequency spectrum. The solid Sitka Spruce top offers an expansive frequency range with shimmering highs, tight mids, and a full-bodied low end. Meanwhile, the Sapele back and sides contribute a warm, full-bodied mid-range and a bright tone.
One of the standout features of the FRH10N is its modified FR hollow body with fan bracing, which reduces feedback by eliminating the traditional sound hole on the body top. This design choice enhances the guitar’s playability and provides a warm, natural nylon string sound. The side sound port allows for a clearer and more direct acoustic tone, giving players an immersive listening experience.
The guitar is equipped with an Ibanez T-bar Undersaddle pickup that accurately translates the instrument's full sound to any amplification system. The onboard active preamp with custom Ibanez electronics includes a mute switch to prevent unexpected parameter changes during performances. This setup minimizes body contact and helps maintain the guitar’s acoustic tone.
