    Ergoply Troster Guitar Thigh Rest

Excellent , even better than the previous Ergoplay rest I purchased. Easy to use and adjust.

    Great for back problems

It works nicely. It looks a strange contraption, took a bit of tweaking to set up, but my aching back loves it. It gets my guitars sitting up nice and high so I'm not hunched over. Singing is also way easier with this posture. The four touch points suit the shape of my OOO 8 string and also my SCGC FS with a cutaway.

    Ergoplay Troster

Not as comfortable as I first thought. It has limited range to adjust particularly the lower side and it lift the body of the guitar too much. Not sure if a smaller model is what I would need. What I got was the standard size since I don’t know whether there are other sizes. This needs to be checked!

    Awesome guitar rest

The only guitar rest Ive tried apart from assorted cushions and a home styled one made from glued together pieces of mattress foam :P ........Gotta say, I couldn't be happier. Lightweight, strong, comfortable and super adjustable. Took me all of two minutes to get it the way I wanted it. Now, while the base and arms are metal (aluminium I'm assuming), the wing nuts are plastic and initially I thought that could be a problem strength wise, but the rubber washers sitting between the base and the adjustable arms grip extremely well so the nuts don't need to be tight at all. Suction cups work a treat so no need to remove it while you're at home. Also, you're gonna have to like your guitar sitting high. I'm right handed and have it on my right thigh and while I have my guitar sitting higher than most players I've seen, the short arm is at about its lowest setting. So yeah, not super cheap, but for me, worth every penny. Real fast delivery too.
