Introducing the Gibson SJ-200 Original Vintage Sunburst Jumbo Acoustic Electric Guitar, a true legend among guitars. The SJ-200, known as the 'King of Flat-Tops', has been featured in the soundtracks of icons like Elvis, Bob Dylan, and countless other legendary musicians. This Original edition showcases exquisite craftsmanship, including a carved four-bar moustache bridge, engraved tortoise pickguard, and mother-of-pearl crown fretboard inlays. The vintage sunburst finish not only enhances its visual appeal but also allows the guitar to resonate with optimal tonal richness, delivering a remarkable playing experience that has made this model iconic.
With its jumbo shape, the SJ-200 delivers a wide, full-bodied sound that fills any room. It is incredibly responsive, making it perfect for delicate fingerpicking or powerful strumming. Equipped with the LR Baggs Element VTC pickup system, this guitar is stage-ready and delivers the signature SJ-200 sound to larger audiences. Featuring Sitka spruce top, flame maple back and sides, and traditional hand-scalloped X-bracing, the guitar produces a balanced and vibrant tone. The 2-piece maple neck and rosewood fingerboard with elegant mother-of-pearl inlays ensure smooth playability, while gold-plated Gotoh Keystone tuners and a bone nut and saddle guarantee exceptional tuning stability and intonation.
