Without proper humidity control, wood instruments will not perform at their maximum ability and even worse can be damaged. To maintain their shape, wooden instruments need to be stored at a stable 45-55% RH (relative humidity). Wide fluctuations in humidity will cause the wood to expand or shrink, which puts stress on the instrument and degrades its performance abilities. Stop risking your instrument by adding water. Only Boveda’s patented 2-way humidity control adds or removes moisture as conditions require to maintain the ideal humidity level in your instrument case. Boveda helps prevent warping or cracking, and eliminates downtime for service. Because Boveda requires zero maintenance, your instrument will always be protected.
Most wood instrument cases have twice as much wood as your instrument does! All of that wood needs to be humidified before using your Boveda Starter Kit (sold separately). If you don't season your wooden case, you'll blow through Boveda faster than you need to—so start off by seasoning that case in one-step with Boveda for seasoning.
Acoustic Centre offers free shipping on all new items to most locations within Australia on all orders over $99, excluding Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland. Used items have a flat rate shipping fee of $59 within our usual shipping locations. We also offer competitive Express shipping options at checkout.
Customers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland recieve free shipping on all accessory orders over $99, but will incur a flat rate instrument or large item shipping charge of $179 (or $299 for Express shipping).
Occasionally due to issues with delivering to remote or unusual destinations, we aren't able to offer free postage. We reserve the right to retract the offer if freight costs exceed 15% of your purchase. We will always notify you if there is an issue and offer a full refund or arrange alternative delivery options.
All strings and accessories will be shipped with tracking via courier or Australia Post. Other items including guitars and amplification equipment will be shipped using our courier service providers, with a tracking number and signature on delivery.
