Acoustic Centre offers free shipping on all new items to most locations within Australia on all orders over $99, excluding Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland. Used items have a flat rate shipping fee of $59 within our usual shipping locations. We also offer competitive Express shipping options at checkout.
Customers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland recieve free shipping on all accessory orders over $99, but will incur a flat rate instrument or large item shipping charge of $179 (or $299 for Express shipping).
Occasionally due to issues with delivering to remote or unusual destinations, we aren't able to offer free postage. We reserve the right to retract the offer if freight costs exceed 15% of your purchase. We will always notify you if there is an issue and offer a full refund or arrange alternative delivery options.
All strings and accessories will be shipped with tracking via courier or Australia Post. Other items including guitars and amplification equipment will be shipped using our courier service providers, with a tracking number and signature on delivery.

We endeavour to show the actual instrument in stock whenever possible, but the guitar in stock may differ slightly from the one shown on our website. Materials used can look different from guitar to guitar, including timber grain and colour, parts colours and finishing. If an instrument is a one-of-a-kind or preowned guitar, the picture will always be of the actual guitar in stock, but production models may have slight variations to the picture shown.

I have a pretty new Messiah purchased from Buzz music in Cairns, in 2019. The Messiah is my second Maton, the first being an SRS70 Solid Road Series. Not only is the Messiah a great sound producing woodland instrument., it's finish is by far the best that I have ever seen on an acoustic/electric guitar in my 71 years on planet Earth. Maton really know their stuff. If Tommy Emanuel carries 3 Matons with him around the world, one would expect them to be an excellent instrument of course. I haven't got Tommy's bankroll but the Maton Messiah is within easy reach of any working or retired adult, male or female. You know the feeling...when you pick it up for the first time and plug it into your favourite amplifier and play it for the first time, it is THEN that the real reason you purchased it, really hits you in the face. The sound is fantastic, full of all the expectations that you were greedily looking for but not really expecting ALL of them to be realised, then a pleasant surprise to see that Maton delivered, in a sophisticated illustrious professional style that is 2nd to none. All Matons are excellent guitars, but the Messiah is my preferred interpreter of my musical prowess, as humble as it is.

This guitar is by far the most beautiful sounding guitar I have ever played, and still remains so 3 years on. The action is sublime and the tone us out of this world - crisp and clear, yet with rich, bass notes. This guitar will certainly be in my collection for life! Wow! What can I say about this guitar. I have bought so many guitars over the years looking for the “One” for Me. Found it! I bought an $8,000 US (no names) and it did not satisfy like this has. I’ve tried dreadnoughts, auditoriums, OM, OOO, you name it. Played plenty of guitars (30yrs) - and have enjoyed them all, but not like this. Every time I strum a chord I smile. Seriously, smile. When’s the last you did that. Maton have done a really exceptional build on this one. Half the price of Martin's, Taylor’s etc. of equivalent quality. well worth the drive...

Very rich, warm sound with crystal glassy highs that just shout 'I've made it'. Very balanced tone, superb playability and can take a quite a number of hard knocks with no worry (not that I'd recommend you purposefully test that out). 10/10 in every sense! Highly recommended
This is a really nice guitar. Bought one from Acoustic Centre about a week ago and I love it. Beautiful to look at and a beautiful tone. Powerful and balanced sound. The neck feels nice and playability is excellent. The AP5-pro pick up does a great job of amplifying the natural tone of the instrument. An all-round great guitar.
