The Pure Classic is our signature pickup for nylon string acoustic guitars. The Pure Classic is a 4-head, bridge plate transducer.
Bridge plate transducers are the optimal choice for achieving a rich, natural guitar sound. The Pure's position on the bridge plate provides the perfect balance of sound, picking up all the strings without sounding harsh or percussive and "listening" to the sound board to amplify the unique characteristics of your guitar. The result is a warm, full-range signal that sounds great even without a preamp!
Please note - K&K products have a 1-year warranty only when installed by an authorised installer (such as ourselves). Please bear this in mind if you wish to install your own pickup.
Acoustic Centre offers free shipping on all new items to most locations within Australia on all orders over $99, excluding Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland. Used items have a flat rate shipping fee of $59 within our usual shipping locations. We also offer competitive Express shipping options at checkout.
Customers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland recieve free shipping on all accessory orders over $99, but will incur a flat rate instrument or large item shipping charge of $179 (or $299 for Express shipping).
Occasionally due to issues with delivering to remote or unusual destinations, we aren't able to offer free postage. We reserve the right to retract the offer if freight costs exceed 15% of your purchase. We will always notify you if there is an issue and offer a full refund or arrange alternative delivery options.
All strings and accessories will be shipped with tracking via courier or Australia Post. Other items including guitars and amplification equipment will be shipped using our courier service providers, with a tracking number and signature on delivery.

Sonically a very high quality full range pick-up, a little more tricky to mount inside the guitar under the bridge position, installed with adhesive tape supplied, good to follow the detailed installation instructions carefully… However I had to do some variations to get the 4 transducers in the correct position… The Acoustic steel string guitar pick-up was a little easier to install with the jig supplied… Thank you.
