AustraliaWhen plugged in makes the guitar sing. I am using the balanced output into my DAW and have never had an acoustic sound so nice before. Missing one star just because a true bypass switch would be good.

A great external preamp solution with a built-in DI. It sounds great and is solidly built.
I ran an Open mic night for over 6 years and encountered many varied and difficult instruments that were played at those nights. Making those instruments sound great was a challenge but not with this DI. Any unwanted pitch, sound, hum, frequency can be tuned out. I also use it with my Martin dm-12 road series that has a Shatten pick up that has a very strong signal. Using this DI I can get the best out of my 12 string with little effort. Presence and treble that be overpowering with this guitar is easily under control. Also wonderful is the ability to use two outputs, one trs and the other balanced at the same time, I put one in one channel and the other in a seperate one then pan left and right. It seems to create a bigger sound. Use it all the time with my peterman stomp box and busking amp when busking. Helps control the thump from destroying my small busking amp.
This is an outstanding addition to any acoustic players kit...built like a tank, excellent for passive pick ups with built in adjustable gain and the parametric sweeps help you tweak your tone to perfection. Use for live application of acoustic instrument.
