The Black Mountain spring loaded thumb pick is built for musicians who enjoy playing with their fingers (fingerstyle) but also enjoy playing with a pick (flatpicking). Players love the Black Mountain Pick because it feels like a regular guitar pick, but it also feels like a traditional thumb pick.

Acoustic Centre offers free shipping on all new items to most locations within Australia on all orders over $99, excluding Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland. Used items have a flat rate shipping fee of $59 within our usual shipping locations. We also offer competitive Express shipping options at checkout.
Customers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland recieve free shipping on all accessory orders over $99, but will incur a flat rate instrument or large item shipping charge of $179 (or $299 for Express shipping).
Occasionally due to issues with delivering to remote or unusual destinations, we aren't able to offer free postage. We reserve the right to retract the offer if freight costs exceed 15% of your purchase. We will always notify you if there is an issue and offer a full refund or arrange alternative delivery options.
All strings and accessories will be shipped with tracking via courier or Australia Post. Other items including guitars and amplification equipment will be shipped using our courier service providers, with a tracking number and signature on delivery.

AustraliaAwesome product! .. I am a finger style guitarist but also play songs using a pick and also use strumming to fill out the sound between picking in certain passages. My standard thumb-pick serves the purpose but I don't get a light strum, which I prefer! .. These picks are perfect for the job! .. I have been glueing a plectrum to my thumb-pick for a while now and although it suffices, these picks are made for the job while being comfortable and secure. I will be in touch because I want plenty spare .. I would hate to lose any.

AustraliaBetter than most thumb picks I've tried in the past but not in love with the fit, size, flexibility and feel of the 2 I bought. I'll most likely continue to use fingers in combination with flat pick but I'll play around with the thumb picks. If I find a shop with a range of them I'll try others to see if any fit my needs more precisely. Just the risk of on line shopping when you can't test it before buying. I probably won't use them much.

AustraliaInitially I ordered 2 thin picks. Great product. Fits very well so I don’t have soak the normal plastic ones in hot water to get the size right. I have since ordered 2 more , medium and heavy. Acoustic Centre is my go to on line store. Thanks David

AustraliaNice, comfortable thumb pick. Purchased this to allow easy transition from finger picking to flat picking. For me the more or less fixed pick position does not allow enough flexibility to cover fast alternate picking or picking with a softt touch. It has to come off for me to flat pick.

AustraliaHighly recommended for folks with arthritis in picking hand. Using a standard pick aggravated the arthritis in my right thumb but no issues whatsoever with this pick. These are easy and comfortable to use. I assume they are standard tension. If you order from the Black Mountain US website, you have the option of standard or tight tension. May I suggest Acoustic Centre specifies the tension of the picks they sell in the description. AustPost tracking could only be described as a joke or rather, non existent!! However the team at Acoustic Centre gladly provided me info on the status (tracking) of my package. Thanks team
