Acoustic Centre offers free shipping on all new items to most locations within Australia on all orders over $99, excluding Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland. Used items have a flat rate shipping fee of $59 within our usual shipping locations. We also offer competitive Express shipping options at checkout.
Customers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland recieve free shipping on all accessory orders over $99, but will incur a flat rate instrument or large item shipping charge of $179 (or $299 for Express shipping).
Occasionally due to issues with delivering to remote or unusual destinations, we aren't able to offer free postage. AustraliaI purchased 2 sets of the Thomastik-Infeld Jazz strings (11-477) after reading and watching information about them. I took a chance as I had never used or heard them live before and have fitted one set to my Ibanez Artcore semi-hollow body guitar. I am in love with them as they give me the jazz tones I was searching for. These are incredibly smooth strings with no feedback through the amp. The subtlety of the overtones enmesh the brightness of the strings (tone controls) giving me an amazing range of tonal values depending on whether I use the neck or the bridge pickups and tone control combinations. In short I can play a wide range of genres from jazz to folk to rock. I am glad I took the chance. The second set is going on my Ibanez LGB30 for those smooth jazz numbers. The price is well worth the sound proving again you get what you pay for. Thanks to the Acoustic Centre for stocking these strings as well as ease of purchase and great customer service. Very professional.

AustraliaThese are my go to strings for all things hollow body guitars. I find the sound warm yet clear and they feel great under the fingers. Highly recommended if you're looking for that classic sound.
AustraliaOne of the low (.44) Es broke as I was winding it on my Gretsch. I’ve been fitting strings for over 30 years and I’ve never seen a string break at the initial contact point on the tuner. It broke before I got any tension on the string…most unusual. I salvaged it but have not got the amount of wind I would like. I have used heavier gauge Thomastik’s before and love them. These lighter strings play great; I suspect there was some manufacturing fault with the low E string. I’ll buy them again because generally the quality is high. Hopefully just a one off.

AustraliaI've bought these strings before and love them (on an Ibanez archtop). Acoustic Centre's service is so excellent and delivery so fast that it's better for me to buy from them than a store in Sydney (where I am).
