The new Guild D-55E represents the highly anticipated return of a Guild acoustic to the forefront. Crafted with utmost precision, this guitar stays true to the premium appointments of the original model. It features a AAA Sitka spruce top, solid Indian Rosewood back and sides with a Walnut center seam, and an ebony fingerboard and bridge. The nitrocellulose lacquer finish not only enhances the guitar's visual appeal but also allows the natural resonance of the wood to shine.
This 2021-built model is a wonderful example of the incredible quality coming out of the Guild factory. The D-55 is an absolute classic in the world of acoustic guitars, and is easily the equal of any other American manufacturer building today. This particular guitar is in incredible condition, with minimal playwear and a factory-fitted LR Baggs Anthem pickup system. The playability is fantastic, with a great medium action and a 1-11/16" nut width that makes chording a breeze. The sound is huge - rich, bass-forward and dripping with overtones, with beautiful natural reverb and piano-like low end. An instant staff favourite! Includes original hardshell case.
Acoustic Centre offers free shipping on all new items to most locations within Australia on all orders over $99, excluding Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland. Used items have a flat rate shipping fee of $59 within our usual shipping locations. We also offer competitive Express shipping options at checkout.
Customers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland recieve free shipping on all accessory orders over $99, but will incur a flat rate instrument or large item shipping charge of $179 (or $299 for Express shipping).
Occasionally due to issues with delivering to remote or unusual destinations, we aren't able to offer free postage. We reserve the right to retract the offer if freight costs exceed 15% of your purchase. We will always notify you if there is an issue and offer a full refund or arrange alternative delivery options.
All strings and accessories will be shipped with tracking via courier or Australia Post. Other items including guitars and amplification equipment will be shipped using our courier service providers, with a tracking number and signature on delivery.
