00015m is exactly what I expected it to be, simple and easy to play with good distinctive sound. Delivery was smooth, prompt and well tracked. Acoustic Centre is always my choice to make any good purchases! Thank you Guys! :)
Every time I open the case the aroma starts the experience...it’s intoxicating and sets up the session. When you look at the deep rich colour of the mahogany nestled in the deep green interior of the case, it’s a sight for sore eyes and then when you lift it out and feel the surprisingly light weight, you want to cradle it. Then when you play the first chord or start picking your favourite warm up tune, it lets out a mellow, smooth but precise sound that is such a joy to hear that a couple of hours can fly by...I wanted a guitar that I could seriously enjoy each time I picked it up and this one offers that and more. I’ve only had it a year, but it’s a guitar I will grow old with and I’ll be handing it down - that’s how good this guitar is.
I've had one of these guitars since 2014. It has a warm, rich sound, with that distinctive Martin blend made warmer by the all-mahogany body and top. It's really responsive, great even for flesh-finger-picking and flat picking. Even when driven hard, the sound doesn't turn muddy. There's no internal pickup, but that's the guitar's design, just as is the 1-11/16-nut neck. The difference between this guitar and one with a mahogany body and spruce top is one of sound preference, not quality, and the only way to determine which you prefer is to play both. This guitar has great presence, volume and lower-end response, particularly for its size, and the top end sparkles. As another reviewer said, it's a guitar to grow old with.
Had one of these since 2004. Versatile in every way. Warm bass, deep mids and sparkly highs. Great sustain. Quite different to a spruce top guitar-more of a lo-fi sound but great for fingerstyle, ragtime blues and solo singer songwriter performing. Also, small body is so comfy for playing on couch while watching TV. Body is super light and responsive. This is a guitar to grow old with.
This guitar never disappointed me when I had one. Unfortunately I don't own it anymore but when I did, it performed admirably, both acoustically and at shows (with a fishman single coil pickup nestled comfortably in the sound hole) I couldn't recommend this guitar highly enough; it's got amazing low end while still maintaining a decent amount of brightness, especially from a mahogany top guitar The only reason I gave it 4/5 and not 5/5 is because it doesn't have a built in pick up system, but I guess that's not the guitars fault; I had to start nit picking to find a single 'fault' with this guitar
