The Eastman E10SS is a slope-shoulder dreadnought that blends vintage character with modern craftsmanship, delivering rich tone and outstanding projection. Built with a solid Adirondack spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides, this all-solid wood guitar produces a warm, punchy voice with exceptional clarity. The short 24.75" scale and Traditional Even "C" mahogany neck make for a comfortable playing experience, ideal for both flatpickers and singer-songwriters seeking that iconic slope-shoulder sound.

Elegant appointments include an ebony fingerboard, firestripe pickguard, ivoroid binding, and a nitrocellulose gloss finish that enhances the natural grain of the wood. The E10SS also features hand-carved scalloped X bracing for excellent resonance, a bone nut and saddle for maximum sustain, and open-gear Ping tuners for precise tuning stability. Whether you're on stage or in the studio, the E10SS is a bold and expressive acoustic guitar that offers boutique-level tone at a fraction of the price.

    Fantastic (For the Price).

This guitar really is fantastic. It plays so well and sounds amazing. The cons of this guitar have nothing to do with playability or sound. There is a blemish in the satin finish on the neck - right where my thumb sits when playing the middle frets, so I notice it every time I play. There is also a soft spot in the gloss finish on the lower bout that can be picked off. It's on the binding so not really noticeable. If you want a guitar that sounds great and can live with a less than perfect finish (the fit is spot-on) then this guitar is fantastic.

    WOW, WOW, WOW I'm speechless

so I have played guitar for 40 years, owned 2 recording studios, played and recorded hundreds of guitars.. Also owned Maton, Cole Clark, Martin, Gibson and Guild.. I read about Eastman a few months back and did the research and no matter where I looked I couldn't find a bad review which surprised me.. Even the shop owners doing reviews were conservative but you could tell they were amazed at the sound and quality and obviously didn't want to upset their other suppliers by saying the Eastman is the most underrated guitar brand for the price.. So I pulled the trigger on the E10SS which arrived today.. Unpacked it, opened the case and the new smell alone of this beauty was a thing of joy.. My first test with any acoustic guitar is always a firm single strum of E minor, this allows the deeper tones to ring out and gives a good sense as to the overall balance of the open high strings.. What can I say.... This guitar rang out like a huge church bell across the valley with a dark rich tone that sent a tingle to my nether regions LOL... The sustain is incredible, after 20 seconds you can still hear the last frequencies fading inside the body.. This guitar is tuned to perfection.. Build quality 9.5/10 (not sure if there is a perfect guitar) absolute craftmanship in all areas.. If you are looking for a J45 forget the overpriced Gibson you can get 2-3 Eastmans for the price of one Gibson. I am now selling some of my collection and looking at the AC630 jumbo which also has rave reviews..

    Stunning eastman E10ss

Before I write a few words about my recent purchase,I want to thank either Dan or Hamish for picking this guitar for its gorgeous tone, thanks fella,s I jJUST DONT KNOW HOW EASTMAN DO IT, for the price, Im in my 42nd year as a guitar player started with Rock like everyone else, then the man came along Mr TE. and changed everything for me musically, I just had to learn his stuff, thumb independence the lot, I owe Tommy everything ,I have Maton,s, Mcilroys, Kirk sands, and owned many Martins along the way, the guitars I mention are not cheap, but my recent purchase The eastman E10ss leaves them for dead, this is my second Eastman bought unsighted and not heard, and I can tell you I never buy acoustics over the phone,I have to hear the tone its all about the tone,Eastman are so consistent in build and TONE I ordered my recent one online They really are quality build instruments ,and the E10ss is no exception they are all like that , players say yeah but theres nothing like owning a Martin Rosewood dreadnought , I say rubbish, this $1600 guitar will leave many many guitars for dead, In my opinion Eastmans copy of Gibsons J45 leaves Gibson ,s flagship model for dead .This Eastman is a very very serious challenger, for a 3rd of the cost .Well done Eastman for making such affordable guitars, that inspire us pick them up and play. They really are responsive guitars with a consistent tone .Thankyou Acoustic centre David
