The Alvarez MD60EBG is part of the Alvarez Masterworks series, showcasing the classic dreadnought tone the series is known for. A solid AA Sitka spruce top delivers a balanced, resonant sound, while solid African mahogany back and sides add warmth and depth, and forward-shifted scalloped FST2M bracing enhances the guitar's tonal response for clear articulation and dynamic projection.
A one-piece mahogany neck with a 50/50 semi-gloss finish offers a comfortable playing experience, and a rosewood or pau ferro fingerboard is adorned with paua abalone and mother of pearl inlays. Real bone nut and saddle, nickel open-gear tuners, herringbone binding and ebony bridge pins round out the appointments, while the onboard LR Baggs Element VTC pickup makes this dreadnought ideal for reliable, high-quality amplified performance on any stage.
