AUSTRALIA'S #1 ACOUSTIC GUITAR SPECIALIST
AUSTRALIA'S #1 ACOUSTIC GUITAR SPECIALIST
The Bourgeois Touchstone Series Vintage D Acoustic Guitar is a masterful creation, blending Dana Bourgeois’ exceptional craftsmanship with Eastman Music Company's renowned luthier skills. This series, celebrated for its meticulous attention to detail and legendary tone, brings a high level of artistry to the hands of discerning players.
Each guitar in the Touchstone Series starts with a hand-selected old-growth Alaskan Sitka Spruce soundboard, paired with Adirondack Spruce bracing sourced from Maine’s northern forests. This choice of tonewoods provides a deep, resonant sound with impressive projection and clarity. Dana Bourgeois, a luthier with over 50 years of experience, employs his celebrated hand-voicing technique to ensure every top is crafted to deliver a rich and balanced tone.
Once the tops are approved by Dana Bourgeois, they are vacuum-sealed and shipped to Eastman’s workshop. There, Eastman’s most skilled luthiers, trained in Bourgeois' tonal philosophy and construction methods, integrate the tops into Dana's designs, resulting in a guitar of superior craftsmanship and sound.
The Bourgeois Touchstone Series Vintage D Acoustic Guitar is a testament to Dana Bourgeois’ legacy and a collaboration that delivers an instrument of exceptional quality and tone. Ideal for both performance and personal enjoyment, this guitar is designed to meet the highest standards of acoustic excellence.
