Martin D-16E Rosewood: 16 Series Acoustic Electric Guitar

Available at Acoustic Centre Melbourne

Includes Gig Bag

The Martin D-16E Rosewood combines timeless tonewoods with modern performance features, offering the best of both worlds for any guitarist seeking exceptional sound and reliability. Featuring a solid spruce top paired with solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, this guitar delivers robust low-end authority and a harmonic-rich tonal complexity. The vintage-inspired forward-shifted X-bracing further enhances the bass response, ensuring that every note is full-bodied and resonant. Whether you’re playing unplugged or plugged in, the D-16E Rosewood brings unparalleled projection and warmth.

This dreadnought guitar is not only a marvel acoustically but also equipped with Martin’s E1 electronics system, making it gig-ready and studio-friendly. With controls for volume, tone, and phase-reversal, you can tailor your sound with ease, eliminating unwanted feedback when performing live. The system also includes a built-in tuner, offering convenience for quick tuning during practice or on stage. The guitar's Modified Low Oval neck profile and 16-inch-radius ebony fingerboard provide comfortable playability, ideal for both flatpickers and fingerstyle players. Finished off with antique white binding, a multi-stripe herringbone rosette, and open-gear tuners, the Martin D-16E Rosewood brings classic style and superb craftsmanship into a versatile, modern instrument.

We endeavour to show the actual instrument in stock whenever possible, but the guitar in stock may differ slightly from the one shown on our website. Materials used can look different from guitar to guitar, including timber grain and colour, parts colours and finishing. If an instrument is a one-of-a-kind or preowned guitar, the picture will always be of the actual guitar in stock, but production models may have slight variations to the picture shown.

If you're after a particular look, feel free to email us at info@acousticcentre.com.au or send us a message through our chat service to request photos of the actual guitar in stock. We are more than happy to send through pictures of all in-stock guitars, to make your choice easier.

Please note that returns will not be accepted for variations in timber grain /  colouring, finish variations and parts colouring, unless there is a fault with the instrument. If you have any questions at all regarding an instrument's appearance, just drop us a line - we're always happy to send photos, and if we have more than one instrument in stock you'll be able to choose the exact guitar that you receive!
