Acoustic Centre offers free shipping on all new items to most locations within Australia on all orders over $99, excluding Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland. Used items have a flat rate shipping fee of $59 within our usual shipping locations. We also offer competitive Express shipping options at checkout.
Customers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland recieve free shipping on all accessory orders over $99, but will incur a flat rate instrument or large item shipping charge of $179 (or $299 for Express shipping).
Occasionally due to issues with delivering to remote or unusual destinations, we aren't able to offer free postage. AustraliaD’Addario EJ phosphour bronze strings come in all the usual gauges but now are available in Heavy 14-59 gauge! All the EJ stings I have used are good quality at a great price, but this review is specifically about the new heavy gauge. These are not suitable for standard tunings as they have tension of 213 pounds (12-53 gauge are around 160). However, for those who wish to tune their guitar down at least two semitones; they may be a good choice. I tuned my old Maton down 3 semitones and the heavy strings gave a good action with no real buzzing. The guitar sounded amazing and allows me to take some songs into a vocal range suitable for my baritone voice.
