The D'Addario Planet Waves GH Humidifier is a simple, effective solution for preventing cracks, warping, and other costly damage caused by dry conditions. Designed specifically for acoustic guitars, it hangs securely inside the soundhole without touching the instrument’s body, offering peace of mind and consistent care.
Using a moisture-releasing sponge, this humidifier maintains the ideal humidity level by slowly and evenly distributing moisture. Just dampen the sponge, place it in your guitar, and re-moisten as needed. It’s safe for all acoustic guitars and requires no clips, adhesives, or modifications.

Acoustic Centre offers free shipping on all new items to most locations within Australia on all orders over $99, excluding Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland. Used items have a flat rate shipping fee of $59 within our usual shipping locations. We also offer competitive Express shipping options at checkout.
Customers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland recieve free shipping on all accessory orders over $99, but will incur a flat rate instrument or large item shipping charge of $179 (or $299 for Express shipping).
Occasionally due to issues with delivering to remote or unusual destinations, we aren't able to offer free postage. We reserve the right to retract the offer if freight costs exceed 15% of your purchase. We will always notify you if there is an issue and offer a full refund or arrange alternative delivery options.
All strings and accessories will be shipped with tracking via courier or Australia Post. Other items including guitars and amplification equipment will be shipped using our courier service providers, with a tracking number and signature on delivery.

After a recent very dry heatwave with a dust haze, I used the humidifier in the case with my Maton EBG808 and after two days the guitar had regained its normal shape and action. Very pleased.

Seems to do the job well, easy to pop it in between the strings as you put your baby down to sleep after a session! Would recommend.
