AUSTRALIA'S #1 ACOUSTIC GUITAR SPECIALIST
AUSTRALIA'S #1 ACOUSTIC GUITAR SPECIALIST
The Maton EBG808TE 'Tommy Emmanuel' Acoustic Electric Guitar is a tribute to one of the world’s most celebrated and influential guitarists. Designed in collaboration with Tommy Emmanuel, this signature model reflects his immense skill and musicality. The guitar features a "AAA Select" grade spruce top paired with Queensland maple back and sides, which combine to deliver a rich, balanced sound. The AP5 Pro pickup system ensures that whether you are playing live or recording, your tone remains true and vibrant. The model also boasts a Mother of Pearl block inlay on the 12th fret, engraved with the “C.G.P.” symbol—honoring Tommy Emmanuel’s recognition as a Certified Guitar Player by Chet Atkins.
Built to Tommy’s exact specifications, the EBG808TE is designed for the most demanding players. The guitar’s resonant tone is complemented by its superb craftsmanship, with select Queensland maple used for both the neck and body, and a streaky ebony fingerboard for smooth playability. The herringbone rosette and vintage amber stain satin finish give the instrument a classic aesthetic, while its modern playability and performance capabilities make it an ideal choice for musicians looking for a guitar that can handle delicate fingerpicking as well as bold, expressive playing.
Designed for versatility and durability, the EBG808TE can withstand the rigors of international touring, offering a guitar that stays true to its form no matter where you are in the world. Whether performing on a grand stage or in an intimate setting, this guitar provides the tonal clarity, power, and responsiveness that any guitarist, especially one of Tommy’s caliber, would require. With the included Maton hard case, it’s a complete package that combines unmatched craftsmanship with legendary performance.
