The Gibson Custom Shop 1942 Banner LG-2 produces a charming and seductive tone that rivals much larger-bodied guitars while maintaining exceptional clarity and focus in individual notes. The 1942 Banner LG-2 is extremely well-balanced, fast-playing and full of tone delivered by a select Thermally Aged red spruce top and mahogany back and sides. Ideal for folk, blues and finger style, this delicately balanced model maintains a full-dynamic range in a compact package.
This gorgeous 2020-built guitar really captures the vibe and tone of the sought-after wartime Gibson small-bodied guitars. It's open, woody and fundamental, with a surprisingly complex voice full of character. It's powerful when strummed, with a fat, clear and punchy tone, but also shines for fingerstyle where it's natural compression really shines through. It's in fantastic condition too, with barely any playwear despite it's ultra-light finish. Truly a hard guitar to put down! Includes original hardshell case.
Acoustic Centre offers free shipping on all new items to most locations within Australia on all orders over $99, excluding Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland. Used items have a flat rate shipping fee of $59 within our usual shipping locations. We also offer competitive Express shipping options at checkout.
Customers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland recieve free shipping on all accessory orders over $99, but will incur a flat rate instrument or large item shipping charge of $179 (or $299 for Express shipping).
Occasionally due to issues with delivering to remote or unusual destinations, we aren't able to offer free postage. We reserve the right to retract the offer if freight costs exceed 15% of your purchase. We will always notify you if there is an issue and offer a full refund or arrange alternative delivery options.
All strings and accessories will be shipped with tracking via courier or Australia Post. Other items including guitars and amplification equipment will be shipped using our courier service providers, with a tracking number and signature on delivery.
