The Iris MS-00, named after vintage Gibson expert Mark Stutman of Folkway Music, is a vintage-inspired instrument designed to offer exceptional playability and tonal quality. This mid-thirties style 00 guitar features a short scale length, making it a perfect addition to Iris's line of small-bodied guitars.
Crafted with solid mahogany back-and-sides and a solid Sitka spruce top, the MS-00 delivers a beautiful, resonant sound that belies its relatively small body size. The short scale length of 24.75 inches enhances playability, allowing for comfortable fretting and smooth transitions across the fingerboard. The guitar's matte finish adds to its tactile appeal, while the thin layer of lacquer enhances resonance, contributing to the instrument's rich and vibrant tone.
This beautiful small-bodied guitar is in immaculate condition, with barely any sign of playwear whatsoever! It's had an LR Baggs Anthem StagePro professionally installed with side-mounted preamp, and it's the perfect workhorse Gibson-style guitar - the unplugged tone is pure vintage vibe, full of character with a blanced, sweet voice that would record wonderfully. The plugged-in tone is loud, clear and balanced with great compression and feedback resistance. Acoustic Centre offers free shipping on all new items to most locations within Australia on all orders over $99, excluding Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland. Used items have a flat rate shipping fee of $59 within our usual shipping locations. We also offer competitive Express shipping options at checkout.
Customers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland recieve free shipping on all accessory orders over $99, but will incur a flat rate instrument or large item shipping charge of $179 (or $299 for Express shipping).
Occasionally due to issues with delivering to remote or unusual destinations, we aren't able to offer free postage. We reserve the right to retract the offer if freight costs exceed 15% of your purchase. We will always notify you if there is an issue and offer a full refund or arrange alternative delivery options.
All strings and accessories will be shipped with tracking via courier or Australia Post. Other items including guitars and amplification equipment will be shipped using our courier service providers, with a tracking number and signature on delivery.
