The Larrivee's D-40R boasts the company's Scalloped Parabolic Hybrid bracing system for maximum soundboard vibration, but with controlled low-end response. This mighty, all-solid-wood dreadnought acoustic guitar was built from spruce-topped rosewood, with a hand-fit dovetail joint for a lock-tight fit and optimal sustain. The D-40R is eminently playable, courtesy of its comfortable mahogany neck and smooth ebony fingerboard. You also get a whole host of high-end appointments, including a bone nut and saddle, diamond fingerboard inlays, and 18:1 open-back tuners. The Larrivee D-40R comes garlanded with maple Bold Rope binding, a Bold Rope rosette, a tortoise pickguard, and an attention-grabbing satin finish.
This 2016-built guitar is in great condition, with very little playwear and a rich, silky tone with tremendous low end. It's slightly slimmer body dimensions and comfortable slim C-profile neck make it a guitar that you can easily play for hours, with classic rosewood dreadnought tonality. Includes original hardshell case.
Acoustic Centre offers free shipping on all new items to most locations within Australia on all orders over $99, excluding Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland. Used items have a flat rate shipping fee of $59 within our usual shipping locations. We also offer competitive Express shipping options at checkout.
Customers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland recieve free shipping on all accessory orders over $99, but will incur a flat rate instrument or large item shipping charge of $179 (or $299 for Express shipping).
Occasionally due to issues with delivering to remote or unusual destinations, we aren't able to offer free postage. We reserve the right to retract the offer if freight costs exceed 15% of your purchase. We will always notify you if there is an issue and offer a full refund or arrange alternative delivery options.
All strings and accessories will be shipped with tracking via courier or Australia Post. Other items including guitars and amplification equipment will be shipped using our courier service providers, with a tracking number and signature on delivery.
