The Maton Custom Shop Classic is Andy Allen's Custom Shop take on an acoustic guitar standard. The 000 or OM (Orchestra Model) body shape has been an icon for all acoustic guitar makers for decades now. Utilising the timbers that are most recognised in the style, Andy developed The CS Classic with a mix of AAA Grade European Spruce and Indian Rosewood for the back and sides. After extensive testing tonally and geometrically Andy settled upon a forward shifted X brace pattern to bring the rich bottom end from the guitar whilst maintaining an earthy mid-range and that classic Maton Glassy top register. It is not only the balance of tonality Andy proud of, but the projection, clarity, and volume that this shape captures so well. It truly is a classic shape.
This 2022-built guitar is in superb condition - aside from the lightest of polishing swirls, there's almost no playwear whatsoever. The tone is a brighter, punchier take on the classic rosewood OM tone, with plenty of sustain and glorious harmonics. The onboard AP5 Pro pickup makes it a killer live guitar, making it a perfect all-rounder. Andy Allen's guitars are well known for a reason, and this is another stellar example. Includes original hardshell case.
Acoustic Centre offers free shipping on all new items to most locations within Australia on all orders over $99, excluding Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland. Used items have a flat rate shipping fee of $59 within our usual shipping locations. We also offer competitive Express shipping options at checkout.
Customers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland recieve free shipping on all accessory orders over $99, but will incur a flat rate instrument or large item shipping charge of $179 (or $299 for Express shipping).
Occasionally due to issues with delivering to remote or unusual destinations, we aren't able to offer free postage. We reserve the right to retract the offer if freight costs exceed 15% of your purchase. We will always notify you if there is an issue and offer a full refund or arrange alternative delivery options.
All strings and accessories will be shipped with tracking via courier or Australia Post. Other items including guitars and amplification equipment will be shipped using our courier service providers, with a tracking number and signature on delivery.
