The Maton EA80C 'Australian' is a guitar that represents over five decades of dedication to building instruments from native Australian timber. The EA80C stands as a shining example of the exceptional qualities of indigenous Australian wood. Its stunning Blackwood back and sides, combined with a premium-quality Blackwood neck, harmonize to create a sonorous and well-balanced tone. Complementing these exquisite woods, a Bunya face is paired with a Desert Acacia fingerboard and bridge, completing a unique selection of Australian timbers. This guitar proudly represents the finest craftsmanship Australia has to offer and stands shoulder to shoulder with the best instruments from around the globe. A favorite among our staff, the Maton EA80C enchants with its woody richness and showcases the remarkable beauty and tonal qualities of Australian timber.
This preowned 2006 model is in good condition for it's age, with plenty of playwear, pick marks and small dings and scratches, but it sounds played-in in the best possible way; balanced, warm and woody. It's had a recent fret dress, and plays wonderfully with low fret height and a slinky action. It also includes Maton's world-class AP5 pickup system, for flawless plugged-in tone. We very rarely see these models pop up on the used market, and this one is fantastic in every way. Includes Maton flight case.
Acoustic Centre offers free shipping on all new items to most locations within Australia on all orders over $99, excluding Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland. Used items have a flat rate shipping fee of $59 within our usual shipping locations. We also offer competitive Express shipping options at checkout.
Customers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland recieve free shipping on all accessory orders over $99, but will incur a flat rate instrument or large item shipping charge of $179 (or $299 for Express shipping).
Occasionally due to issues with delivering to remote or unusual destinations, we aren't able to offer free postage. We reserve the right to retract the offer if freight costs exceed 15% of your purchase. We will always notify you if there is an issue and offer a full refund or arrange alternative delivery options.
All strings and accessories will be shipped with tracking via courier or Australia Post. Other items including guitars and amplification equipment will be shipped using our courier service providers, with a tracking number and signature on delivery.
