The Martin J-65 Jumbo is a remarkable instrument that stands out as a rare gem in Martin's rich history. While it may not be as popular as some of their other models, the J-65 delivers the iconic Martin sound with impressive depth and clarity. This vintage jumbo features a solid spruce top and highly figured maple back and sides, creating a perfect balance of warmth and brightness that makes it ideal for both strumming and intricate fingerpicking. Whether you're playing rhythm or lead, this guitar can punch through any mix with its booming low end while preserving the clarity of the high end.
As detailed in the original Martin catalog, the J-65 is designed for comfort and speed with its Low Profile neck. This innovative neck shape offers a thinner radius, making it feel more like an electric guitar, with fast playability and easy action that will appeal to players of all levels.
This 1994-built guitar is in fantastic condition, with light playwear and a few small surface-level dings on the guitar's top (only one of which is visible in the photos, the others being too minor to see!). The action is a great medium height, easily suited to any playing style, and teh sound is gorgeous - fatter and more bass-forward than it's Gibson equivalent, but brighter and clearer than a J-40. A rarely-seen and fantastic-sounding Martin jumbo! Includes original hardshell case.

Used items have a flat rate shipping fee of $59 within our usual shipping locations. We also offer competitive Express shipping options at checkout.
Customers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland recieve free shipping on all accessory orders over $99, but will incur a flat rate instrument or large item shipping charge of $179 (or $299 for Express shipping).
Occasionally due to issues with delivering to remote or unusual destinations, we aren't able to offer free postage. We reserve the right to retract the offer if freight costs exceed 15% of your purchase. We will always notify you if there is an issue and offer a full refund or arrange alternative delivery options.
All strings and accessories will be shipped with tracking via courier or Australia Post. Other items including guitars and amplification equipment will be shipped using our courier service providers, with a tracking number and signature on delivery.
