'OM' stands for "Orchestra Model," but 80 years after this body shape was first designed it has become the most popular 14-fret model with fingerstyle guitar soloists who choose to play on steel strings. Yet flatpickers also find it appealing, and when the graceful cutaway is added these OMs are often used by lead players who routinely explore all 20 frets much as they would on an electric guitar. The compact shape makes the Collings OM equally easy to handle onstage or when sitting on the couch, and the relatively shallow body (barely over 4 inches deep) results in balanced tone and an immediate response. This model comes with the classic Spruce/Rosewood timber combination, Pre-war scalloped bracing, High gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish, ebony fingerboard with ebony belly-style bridge with mother of pearl diamond and square fingerboard inlays, and Nickel Waverly tuners with 16:1 ratio.
This 2024-built model is in immaculate condition, and aside from the absolute faintest of polishing swirls it could present as a brand new guitar! The feel is superb, with effortless playability and a rich, complex and balanced tone. The OM2H is one of the all-time greatest small-body guitars, and this is yet another world-class example. Includes original hardshell case.

Customers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland recieve free shipping on all accessory orders over $99, but will incur a flat rate instrument or large item shipping charge of $179 (or $299 for Express shipping).
Occasionally due to issues with delivering to remote or unusual destinations, we aren't able to offer free postage. We reserve the right to retract the offer if freight costs exceed 15% of your purchase. We will always notify you if there is an issue and offer a full refund or arrange alternative delivery options.
All strings and accessories will be shipped with tracking via courier or Australia Post. Other items including guitars and amplification equipment will be shipped using our courier service providers, with a tracking number and signature on delivery.
