RCM-000-BURST

Iris RCM-000 Slotted Headstock 'Tobacco Burst' Acoustic Guitar

Available at Acoustic Centre Melbourne

Includes Hardshell Case

Established in 2018, Iris Guitars combine modern techniques with vintage-inspired aesthetics to create exceptional instruments. Founded by luthier Adam Buchwald, Iris Guitars offers high-quality, handmade guitars designed for everyday musicians. With models drawing inspiration from Depression-era and mid-century designs, each guitar features high-quality all-solid tonewoods, hand-made craftsmanship and stunning build quality, at a price point usually reserved for factory-built guitars.

The Iris RCM-000 is a beautifully crafted instrument that blends classic aesthetics with modern craftsmanship. With a solid Sitka spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides, the guitar delivers a rich, balanced tone, with the spruce top providing crisp high-end clarity and the mahogany offering warm, resonant lows. The scalloped Adirondack spruce bracing enhances the guitar's natural resonance, giving it a powerful voice that is perfect for both strumming and fingerpicking.

Its 12-fret neck design adds to the instrument’s playability, offering a comfortable and smooth experience for players of all styles. The bolt-on mortise & tenon neck joint ensures excellent stability, while the 1-11/16” nut width and sturdy C-shaped neck allow for easy fretting and fast playability. The guitar’s compact body size, compared to traditional dreadnoughts and jumbos, provides both comfort and excellent projection, making it an ideal choice for musicians who want a lighter, more manageable instrument without sacrificing sound quality. The slotted headstock, available as an upgrade on this model, adds an extra touch of elegance. Includes TKL hardshell case.

We endeavour to show the actual instrument in stock whenever possible, but the guitar in stock may differ slightly from the one shown on our website. Materials used can look different from guitar to guitar, including timber grain and colour, parts colours and finishing. If an instrument is a one-of-a-kind or preowned guitar, the picture will always be of the actual guitar in stock, but production models may have slight variations to the picture shown.

If you're after a particular look, feel free to email us at info@acousticcentre.com.au or send us a message through our chat service to request photos of the actual guitar in stock. We are more than happy to send through pictures of all in-stock guitars, to make your choice easier.

Please note that returns will not be accepted for variations in timber grain /  colouring, finish variations and parts colouring, unless there is a fault with the instrument. If you have any questions at all regarding an instrument's appearance, just drop us a line - we're always happy to send photos, and if we have more than one instrument in stock you'll be able to choose the exact guitar that you receive!
